Parent-Teacher Conferences
As we prepare for our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences this week, we look forward to sitting down with parents to discuss your student’s growth, strengths, and goals for the school year. Conferences are one of our most valuable opportunities to build a strong home-school connection and ensure every student at Gorham High School receives the support they need to thrive.
To prepare for your conferences, we encourage all parents and students to log into Infinite Campus and Google Classroom together to check on their work. Don’t just focus on the overall grade for each class but look at the grades for each academic standard. Write down questions that you have based on what you see.
Navigating Support & Communication
If you or your student ever have questions about a class, we encourage using our step-by-step communication channel:
Step 1: Student connects directly with the teacher during class, Advisory, or before or after school.
Step 2: Student reaches out to their School Counselor for academic support, social-emotional check-ins, or academic planning.
Step 3: Parent connects with the teacher directly via Reach My Teach or email.
Step 4: Parent reaches out to their student’s school counselor for guidance on navigating supports.
Step 5: Student and parent reaches out to administration for support.
We appreciate your continued partnership and active involvement in your student's high school journey. We look forward to seeing you this week!
