College and career planning are important parts of the school counseling program at Gorham High School. School counselors create a four year plan with every student, beginning in 8th grade, to start thinking about how the classes they take in high school can help shape their future. Juniors participate in junior meetings where school counselors share exploration resources and discuss possible future plans. Seniors participate in meetings throughout the course of senior year where school counselors support them in postsecondary applications, including four and two year colleges, careers, and financial aid. If you have questions regarding postsecondary planning, please see the school counselors page to contact your school counselor.
