School Counselors

A group of women standing next to each other

GHS school counselors provide a wide range of services, based on individual student needs and interests. These services can be broken down into three major areas: academic performance, postsecondary planning and social and emotional growth. The GHS Counseling Program is an integral part of the total educational experience through which students prepare for meaningful and rewarding lives as productive members of a changing society. To help ensure maximum student success and achievement, our school counselors encourage a team approach that includes students, parents or guardians, teachers, and other stakeholders. The department is committed to providing each student with continuity in the relationship to one counselor throughout high school. Students and families are encouraged to contact their school counselor at any time with any questions or concerns. All students are assigned a school counselor alphabetically by last name. Please the school counselor student assignments listed below.
