Monday, March 9 (White-EA Day)
Special Advisory: Counselors will host grade-level sessions to start the course registration process and share senior year-end reminders. (See location details below).
Maine Construction Academy (MCA): Students can visit the MCA lunch table from 10:40 am – 12:45 pm. Invited students report to the Library at 12:15 pm for a presentation .
Lunch: Mac & Cheese Bar.
Tuesday, March 10 (Maroon Day)
CMCC Admissions Visit: A representative from Central Maine Community College will meet with interested students from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Gorham’s Got Talent Auditions: Held after school in Music Room B-120.
Lunch: Beef Fajitas.
Wednesday, March 11 (White Day)
Winter Sports Awards: Join us at 7:00 pm in the GHS Gym to celebrate our winter athletes.
Lunch: Cheesy Lasagna Noodle Bake.
Thursday, March 12 (Maroon-A Day): Lunch: Teriyaki Chicken Bowl.
Friday, March 13 (White Day)
GHS Choirs School Tour: Tour runs from 7:30 am – 2:00 pm.
Gorham’s Got Talent: Come support our performers at 7:00 pm in the GHS Gym.
Lunch: Burger Bar.
Special Advisory: Monday, March 9
This Monday, counselors will facilitate grade-specific activities during the White-EA advisory. After taking attendance, please follow these directions:
Grade 9: Report to the MPAC for course registration info and an AP Capstone presentation .
Grade 10: Join the Zoom with Kate Stevens.
Grade 11: Join the Zoom with Pal Covie.
Grade 12: Join the Zoom with Trisha Cherry to discuss graduation reminders and scholarships.
Important Updates for Students & Families
Vote for Isaac Hawkins!: Our music teacher, Isaac Hawkins, is a nominee for the Manilow Music Teacher Award! The top recipient earns $10,000 for school instruments. You can vote once daily until March 19th at: https://on.barrymanilow.com/trk/portlandme.
Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences: Conferences are scheduled for March 19 – March 20, 2026. Please watch for sign-up information via ReachMyTeach. Note: There is no school for students on Friday, March 20th.
Supreme Court Summer Program: High school students (grades 9-12) can apply for the FREE "Supreme Court and My Hometown" immersive program in Portland, running July 20-24, 2026. Applications are due by May 4, 2026.
Looking Ahead
Monday, March 16: Seniors vs. Faculty Basketball Game at 6:00 pm in the GHS Gym. Tickets are $5, with proceeds benefiting Camp Sunshine.

PATHS: No students at PATHS today.
Conferences: Evening Parent-Teacher Conferences from 2:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

No School for Students.
Conferences: Daytime Parent-Teacher Conferences from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Saturday, March 21: Unified Basketball & Best Buddies Brunch from 8:30 am – 10:00 am in the GHS Gym. "Pay what you can" fundraiser supporting the Special Olympics.
