We have made it to the final stretch before February break! I want to extend a huge thank you to our students and families for the incredible energy and dedication you’ve shown during this busy winter. From midterms to the musical to sports to clubs and activities, we have had a lot going on. Let’s finish this week strong with plenty of school spirit and a great celebration at Thursday's pep rally!

Monday, Feb. 9 | Maroon-A Day
Spirit Theme: Hat & Headband Day.
Advisory: Check-In.
Lunch: Chicken Cacciatore with Rice.
Tuesday, Feb. 10 | White Day
Spirit Theme: Twin Day.
Lunch: Taco Tuesday.
Events: Poetry Out Loud Southern Regionals at The Public Theatre in Lewiston, 4:00 PM.
Wednesday, Feb. 11 | Maroon Early-Release Day
Spirit Theme: Stripes Day.
Students are dismissed at 11:00 AM.
Lunch: Students can stop by the café on their way out!
Thursday, Feb. 12 | White-EA Day
Spirit Theme: Pink/Red/Whiteout.
Lunch: Italian Chicken Scampi Bowl over rice.
Advisory: Pep Rally, 12:15 PM–12:50 PM.
Friday, Feb. 13 | Maroon Day
Spirit Theme: Sports Teamwear Day (Show Your GHS Sports Pride).
Lunch: Burger Bar (Turkey, Beef, or Veggie) with Chips.
Deadline: Final day for the "Share the Love" Maine Needs donation drive.
Important Updates for Students & Families
Junior Privileges: We will be notifying juniors regarding their privileges soon. To qualify, students must be enrolled in a minimum of six classes, maintain an 85 average in all classes, and have fewer than 8 absences.
"Share the Love" Donation Drive: Friday is the final day to donate items for Maine Needs. Most needed items include warm socks, body soap, shampoo, and toothpaste.
Theater Tickets: Don’t miss our upcoming performances!
Something Rotten: Final performances this weekend!
Yellow Wallpaper: GHS One Act performances are coming Feb. 26–28.
Ram Jam Submissions: Students are encouraged to submit original writing, photography, and artwork to TheRamJam@gorhamschools.org by the March 6 deadline.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Mark your calendars for March 19–20, 2026. More information will be sent out following February break.
Candy Grams
Valentine’s Candygrams: The Class of 2029 will be selling candygrams for $1 at all lunches from February 2–9. These will be delivered during advisory on Thursday, February 12.
The Ram Jam: Call for Submissions
The Ram Jam Literary Magazine is looking for original student work!
Deadline: March 6th.
