GORHAM HIGH SCHOOL

Important Information regarding

Dual Enrollment Programming

Students enrolled in Dual Enrollment classes at GHS may earn both high school and college credits when they successfully complete a course. In order to earn college credit, students must complete their enrollment on the ExplorEC portal prior to the registration deadline. Students may earn up to 12 free credits per year. Summer term courses count toward the following academic year (i.e. summer 2024 classes count toward the 2024/2025 academic year). Enrollment in excess of the 12 credit limit will require students to pay 1/2 the tuition price per course. The deadline for payment is determined by the college, and students will need to access their bill directly through their college account. Any student who has questions or concerns should contact their school counselor.

This information can be confusing so please do not hesitate to reach out to our school counselors with questions.
