I'm doing where him and I'm a junior at ghs this is the brainstem this is a cerebellum and in the pond that is one beautiful brain I think I've been pretty fortunate because of the high school there's a lot of opportunity to kind of do your own thing right now I'm in an anatomy class and actually through USM who's Taylor teachers at just dissected of sheep brain it's like a little tree within a tree look it's like a little bud I just asked a question that I want to wear wonder what the coup I could feel comfortable in my own space my future like I want to be a surgeon so that's super exciting for me I'm a junior in high school and I'm getting a college credit and I'm very thankful to have that opportunity here. in contract what is that what's the first one say I'm very outgoing and I want to engage in conversation and I want to talk to my teachers and my peers encountered difficulties what is an cantar that's really sad that I can feel comfortable asking them questions and like making mistakes is super so is it like natural resources will be all natural resources will be hard to find the only way that I'm going to learn if if I make a mistake the Julie what does this mean there will be more rank I'll be I'll be stronger stronger then and still having that relationship fully Foster the growth environment I had steam engines first and the sink a few other people out of the top three and I think electricity is top three I just don't think it's a number one I actually went in the most for a collaboration because it gives me the chance to step back to listen to hear other people have to say and so getting to work on that it's super important we're going to Harkness to be so it's more of a discussion everybody gets a turn everybody says their peace and then you kind of collaborate to come to a consensus and so being able to agree it's really important because it makes me see things in ways that I wouldn't have seen them before where was she born don't know what that Presque Isle again but then I get to go into the classroom and actually like work one-on-one with a lot of the students and I'm creating these connections with students that I wouldn't otherwise get that I'm getting to chat with them about their project and they're excited to see me and I'm just excited to see them every time I get the not like I got the classrooms today I like I light up in season in five basketball program in psychology talk about I love it so much it means like literally the world to me just being there for the athletes and being able to make that experience like the best it possibly can for them super important to me we're always high-fiving and fist-bumping and I'm joking with them all the time and that you everything that's going on like it's it's not anything different than I would be on a regular basketball team but unified basketball is just it's so special to me because making another person so happy just by being there is just such a fulfilling experience High School is just that chance you're getting a fresh slate you're starting to learn what you like when you don't like and you're going to choose he's past that might factor into what you do in your life and what your career is and so using all of these free opportunities is very crucial and important to what you might want to be when you're older I've been so lucky to get to go here the community here is so incredibly caring and the teachers want you to do better and you'll make friends that you'll enjoy so many different events with you can also be you and that's very important the culture of ghs is so inclusive to everybody that being you is everybody's number one priority it's just important to me that I myself and ghs means being me and I'm really thankful for that
