Early College Credits

Early College Credits at Gorham High School

Students are eligible for up to 12 credits per year (July 1-June 30) through the Early Studies Programs in the University of Maine System and Maine Community College System. Additional early studies options are available through Husson University, St. Joseph’s College and University of New England. Students should discuss their options for this early studies program with their school counselor. Transportation, books and fees are the responsibility of the student.

This is just a reminder that the Aspirations Program only covers 12 credits per academic year. The first summer session resets the credit count back to 0. The last spring session ends the credit count. This means the summer courses you are enrolled in currently count toward the 2023/2024 AY. This total includes courses taken at Maine's Public Universities and Maine's Community Colleges. You will be financially responsible for any credits you register for after 12 (remember, a typical course is 3 credits).
