things are headed back to the school all across the state this morning after out the week through 12th graders will have their first day of school since I went back yesterday KU had a chance to talk to the team to the kids everyone seems excited and hopeful for this new year good morning guys yeah definitely one of excitement building as the school the first day of school is about to start here at Gorham high school now I have with me jewel she's a senior here at Gorham so Julia how you feeling about your first day of school today I'm feeling really excited I'm excited to get into a routine the football game the field hockey games the event it's just a really exciting energy here and I had a really good time the first day of school amazing and out do you favorite classy looking forward to I'm really looking forward to AP Calculus Nelson I've had it for two years it will be my third so I'm really pumped for that looking forward to college and then do you know what you want to do after yeah so I really want to be a cardiothoracic surgeon since like seventh grade it sounds a little crazy but I'm just really into that that doesn't sound crazy it sounds very cool and very exciting and now are you involved in any extracurricular is here yeah so I played field hockey on the classic red and I'm in a couple Club student council interact my dream Factory so yeah I do a couple things are really excited for this year honestly I'm just excited for the end we have a really big class we have a lot of fun together it's going to be a little last hurrah or whatever so I'm just really excited to be with all my classmates and see them all again and I understand the senior class has a senior breakfast that's coming up are you looking forward to that yes there's so much food or not donuts and muffins and anything you could do so I'm really excited amazing well thanks for joining us a sore waking up with us a little bit early I'm going to let you enjoy your senior breakfast and the start of your senior year but thanks for joining us this morning in Gorham I'm Kate McCann four main social coverage all right thank you so much a very bright future for that student we're hoping all the students have a great School
