In the Event of a Snow Day during Exams

In the event of a snow day during exams, exams will be shifted back a day.

Students who attend WRVC or PATHS

Students who attend WRVC or PATHS should plan to attend their programs at those schools when they do not have exams at GHS.  Regular transportation from GHS to WRVC and PATHS will continue throughout exam week.

Students who attend WRVC or PATHS in the morning (Tech 1) need to be at GHS on Wednesday and Friday when they have exams for periods 3, 4, 7, and 8.

Students who attend WRVC or PATHS in the afternoon (Tech 2) need to be at GHS on Tuesday and Thursday when they have exams for periods 1, 2, 5, and 6.

Final Exam / Mid-Year Exam Policy

1. All teachers must give mid-year/final exams during the designated exam schedule. 
2. All exams will take place during the scheduled exam periods unless an exception is provided in advance by the building principal. 
3. Only students with excused absences through the administration will be allowed to make up missed final exams during the make-up sessions.
4. Prior to a student taking a final exam at the end of the course, the student needs to return assigned textbooks to the teacher. Payment for lost or damaged textbooks needs to be made prior to a student taking the exam.
5. In the event of school cancellations, the schedule will be adjusted to accommodate all examinations.
6. Students are to remain in their exam rooms for the entire exam period. 

On Exam Days:

• Students need only attend for examinations.
• Students who are scheduled for study halls during Periods 1-8 may go to the cafeteria or library to study.

Buses – Any changes in the bus schedule will be announced separately the week

before exams.
